Japan Visa™ has it's origins in 2002 in PwC Japan’s Global Visa Solutions Group, which was headed by Japan Visa™ CEO Dean Page. Dean then went on to lead PwC Japan's Pathfinder Group, which specialized in providing integrated tax, accounting, and payroll support to international clients.
Building on the experience of these two groups, Japan Visa™ developed a multidisciplinary approach combining immigration services with the broader professional support required by international businesses in Japan.
Today, our team has grown to more than 20 professionals, including Japanese and foreign lawyers, immigration specialists (gyoseishoshi), licensed tax accountants (zeirishi), and labor and social security specialists (sharoshi).
The key to the Japan Visa™ approach is integrated professional services. We understand that immigration, tax, and employment matters are closely interconnected for the Japan operations of international businesses.
Our integrated approach provides two important advantages:
First, clients benefit from a single point of contact for a broad range of professional services, including company establishment and restructuring, corporate tax, accounting, payroll, and immigration support.
More importantly, our multidisciplinary team understands how decisions in one area can affect requirements in another. For example, a company's capital structure and financial position may influence its ability to sponsor certain visa applications.
By coordinating advice across disciplines, we help clients address related requirements with a clear understanding of their broader business implications.
